The Belleville Public Library is located at 130 South Vine St. It is one of the oldest libraries in the state currently in its 130th year of service to the community and surrounding area. Library hours are M-TH 9 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sat 9 a.m. to noon.
Services include: books, videos, dvds, audio books, playaways, newspapers, large print materials, fax, DSL internet access, wireless, computer/printers, microfiche machine,
local history, copy machine and Interlibrary Loan.
The Library Board meets the second Wednesday of the month at the library at 7:00 p.m. Storytime is on Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. and the adult book group at 6:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month.
Belleville Public Library is a member of the Dane County Library System, South Central Library System and LINK.
LINK, the Library Interchange Network, is a consortium of public libraries that work together and with SCLS to create a network of shared computer systems and services. Because LINK combines the library catalogs of all LINK libraries, the system gives you access to over 2,730,000 items representing over 700,000 different titles.
LINKcat is the online catalog of the LINK member libraries and provides public access to reference databases and the Internet. You can access Linkcat from your home computers
