SENIOR CITIZENS PROGRAM BELLEVILLE, EXETER & MONTROSE

Residents, who are 50 and over, living in the Belleville School District, enjoy free membership in our Senior citizen Program.  the administrative office is located in the Library Building at 130 S. Vine St.  We coordinate a variety of services for senior citizens and their families including: Benefit Specialist and Case Management referrals; Foot Car; Flu Clinics; Informational Workshops on senior topics; Rides for individual medical and mental health related appointments; Group Van rides for local, Monroe and Madison shopping; Support groups for a variety of needs including caregivers and vision imparied persons; and both home-delivered and group dining meals.  Meals are served at noon daily; Monday, Wednesday and Friday at St. Mary's Church Hall located at 221 Frederick Street, and Tuesday and Thursday at the Sugarwood Apartment building, 50 Heritage Ln.  Home delivery is available all 5 days as well.  Weekly activities are held at a variety of locations; a complete calendar of events can be found in our monthly newsletter.  There are a variety of volunteer and social opportunities, too!  To receive a newsletter or more information, contact the Senior Program Office at 424-6007, or e-mail bseniors@verizon.net
